Ana Moura

Ana brings a lifetime of movement, athleticism, and heart to every class. Originally from Brazil , she was a collegiate tennis star at Washington State University and went on to compete on the WTA Tour for nearly a decade. Her background in professional sports and skydiving brings a unique blend of strength, focus, and adventurous spirit to her yoga practice.

Her journey with yoga began 12 years ago during a time of recovery and quickly became a powerful path of transformation. Ana believes yoga is for every body and creates space for students to reconnect with themselves through joyful movement, playful inversions, and breath-led flow.

In addition to teaching at Hot Yoga DeLand, Ana has spent the past year teaching yoga to sports teams and students at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where she loves introducing athletes to yoga as a tool for recovery, injury prevention, and breathwork that supports both body and mind.

Ana has been teaching Heated Slow Flow at HYD since May of 2025 and truly loves working with this incredible community. She looks forward to continuing to deepen her practice while helping new and returning yogis feel supported and at home on the mat—no matter where they are in life.
